Is There A Free Website That Can Tell My The Nutrition Facts Of A Recipe?

Monday, November 16th, 2009

I am looking for a website that can allow me to enter in the ingredients of a recipe and then it will tell me per serving what the nutrition facts are. The only ones I can find have a monthly fee that is very high. Thank you so much!

Is There A Site Where I Can View Nutrition Information For A Chinese Buffet?

Friday, October 9th, 2009

I am going to a Chinese buffet and I am wondering if there is a site where I can see the nutrition information for the typical food they serve. I am curios because I am sure the food is prepared differently thus having a different effect on the nutritional values of the foods there.

Is There Any Food That Contains All The Nutrition You Need?

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

is there any food out there that could be the only food you ever eat and would provide everything you need. for example, special k protein plus appears to have a good amount of all the vitamins, high iron, high protein, high fiber, etc. Is this type of food self contained complete nutrition in every area? are there any others if so?

Are There Any Dangers In Taking Nutrition Shakes Daily?

Monday, September 28th, 2009

I am just starting the Body for Life program and they recommend taking Myoplex nutrition shakes. I am worried they might turn out to have negative side effects. Has anyone had any bad outcomes from taking them?

Is There Any Process That Filters Foreign Foods And Their Accuracy In Nutrition Facts?

Friday, September 25th, 2009

I went to a Korean supermarket and one product claimed that 2g of protein is 84% of your DV while another product claimed to have 10 calories… while it also said it had 39g of carbs.
As there are 4 calories per gram of carbs, this is impossible.
So I was wondering… is any food agency doing anything to protect consumers from inaccurate nutrition facts of foreign foods or am I doomed to mistrust all Asian products for the rest of my life?
